Title: The Tehillim Reading Part 3 - During the Reading

As I got up on to the Bimah, I had a sudden urge to run home and hide, so I wouldn't have to read the whole sefer tehillim in public. despite the urge, I managed to get to the bimah, and start unwrapping the sefer tehillim. When I was Ready, I cleared my throat, Adjusted my glasses, and overcame the urge to run away. I began with the bracha, which had its own completely different nigun. I felt as if my voice was stronger then ever before, which gave me courage to continue. It felt as if any moment everybody would leave, and I would get a break to relax. When it turned out that no one was leaving, I was half relieved and half worried. I was half relieved since everybody was staying to listen to me, but I was half worried, since I was worried I would make a mistake, and then make a fool out of myself.

The Tehillim Reading Part 2 -The Begining

On Tuesday May 29, I woke up at 5 AM. I got out of bed astounded to find a whole pan of roast, freshly cooked, waiting for me to eat it. I ate my share of the roast, then got my tefillin bag ready for davening. I was so excited since I was about to read all of sefer Tehillim, from a Klaf, in Public, With a compilcated tune, in no less than one hour from then. Even with the excitement I managed to go to shul to daven. When I  got to shul I put on my Talis & Tefillin, and Davened at the 6 AM minyan. at 6:29 AM exactly, Davening finished and I got up to the Bimah, ready to begin.

The Tehillim Reading Part 1 - Intro

On tuesday May 29, I read the whole sefer of Tehillim. It started at 6:30 AM, after the 6 a-clock minyan, and ended at 10:30 AM. Why that minyan?, well it all started 3 years ago, when I decided to stop davening at school, and daven at the earliest minyan in shul. I chose the 6 a clock minyan since it was the only minyan that managed to finish davening before the bus came. Since then i've been going to that same minyan for 3 years. Another reason why I decided to begin the tehillim reading after that minyan, is because that we had to finish the reading before it got late. Since I decided to deliver the reading over the course of the whole morning, every person came for a few minutes then left, and got satisfied with my leining.

Davening Ma'ariv

On Friday May 25, I turned 13 years old. According to the Jewish religion, I turned 13 the night before May 25, therefore I was allowed to daven ma'ariv that night. I went to the 20:00 Ma'ariv the night, and was disappointed to find that there was a man that who had an obligation to be the chazan. I left shul and came back for the 20:30 Ma'ariv, and was pleased to find, that no one wanted to be chazan. I went up to the bimah and davened Ma'ariv. It was soooooooooo exciting!!!!. I finally felt like a man!
